Remote WLAN Access Point Series

Remote WLAN Access Points allow you to ship pre-configured WiFi APs to remote employees. Whether the remote users are road-warriors or working from a home office, pre-provisioning and shipping remote Wireless LAN Access Points allows you to save time and reduce helpdesk calls by eliminating the need to assist remote users with network access problems.

Once plugged in, the AP automatically discovers the enterprise FortiGate Wireless controller over the Internet, downloads its configuration and broadcasts the same wireless SSID used in the corporate office. This enables remote employees to simply and seamlessly gain secure encrypted network access to the enterprise, without the need to configure and manage complex client VPN connections.
